Barbadian superstar Rihanna, is getting ready to launch a new merchandise collection to benefit Haitian children.
The 29-year-old entertainer is teaming up with students at the The New School’s Parsons School of Design as well as Donna Karan and her Urban Zen Foundation to design pieces for the line.
For the initiative, the students will work with local artisans in Haiti and eventually travel to and work in the country.
The pieces they create will serve as merchandise for Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation.
Later this month, Rihanna will be honored by the school for her charitable work and will reveal the students who will get to participate in the program.
