There are reports of a murder suicide in Laventille.

The deceased are identified as Kevon Harris and Sherian Huggins.

Reports say the couple got into a heated exchange at their Dan Kelly home and Mr. Harris allegedly dealt Ms. Huggins several chop wounds with a cutlass.

She was chopped on the torso and neck.

Twent-seven-year-old Ms. Huggins died at the scene.

The incident occurred at around 4 o’clock this morning.

Mere minutes later the body of Mr. Harris was found hanging from a tree at Woodford Square.

Newscenter 5 understands Ms. Huggins had 4 children.
