President of the Agricultural Society Dhano Sookoo is dismissing concerns about, what she calls a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley.

Ms. Sookhoo explains that her meeting was merely to advance the causes of her organisation.

There have been calls from 1 farmer organisation for her to resign as president because she was screened by the Peoples National Movement, to contest a seat in the next General Election.

Speaking with Newscenter 5 yesterday Ms. Sookhoo said those calling for her to go have no moral authority to do so.

Ms. Sookhoo also said she owes no explanation and the individual calling for her head should mind his own business.

Ms. Sookoo was not willing to talk about her screening to represent the PNM in the east.
