The Pigeon Point Heritage Park will be closed until further notice after being battered by huge waves which affected beaches in Trinidad and Tobago on tuesday night.
This is confirmed by the Division of Tourism and Transportation.
The park sustained some damage due to rough sea conditions affecting the sheltered coastlines of Tobago.
Newscentre 5 spoke with Tourism Secretary Tracy Davidson Celestine at the Pigeon Point Park yesterday.
Ms Davidson Celestine said assessment is now being done, but promises assistance in restoring the facility.
The Tourism Secretary says there is significant clean up to be done.
