The Oilfield Workers Trade Union says it is time for spread profits and benefits in the country to ordinary citizens.

Speaking at a news conference yesterday Education Officer Ozzie Warwick said that is what the union attempted to achieve with the purchase of Petrotrin.

However he said the government had other plans.

He said financiers and government supports must not be allowed to reap all the benefits while the people suffer.

Mr. Warwick said the demonization of organizations must stop.

He said democracy must reign supreme and urged people to come and support the Drive For Progress.

The Drive For Progress takes place on November 6^th.
