The ruling Jamaica Labour Party’s General Secretary Dr. Horace Chang is predicting at least forty seats in the September 3rd general election.
Dr. Chang says the party is even more popular now than back in 2016 when it took eleven seats from the Peoples National Party.
But the PNP’s Member of Parliament for Trelawny north, Victor Wright is confident his seat will stay with the PNP after the election.
The JLP had initially won 32 seats to the PNP’s 31 in 2016.
However it picked up two more following by elections.
