The Jamaat al Muslimeen says the release of five men detained in Venezuela is no thanks to the former government.
The men were freed following a court ruling on Saturday in Caracas.
They were detained since 2014 on suspicion of terrorism and other offences including espionage.
Speaking with Newscenter 5 yesterday Imam Yasin Abu Bakr said he never doubted they would return.
Imam Abu Bakr said challenges with the former administration contributed to what happen to the five men.
Attorney Nafeeza Mohammed says the families were elated by the news.
She says the families are now preparing for the process of reintegration.
Ms. Mohammed was speaking with Newscenter 5 yesterday.
