Investigations continue into the discovery of a bullet-riddled body in La Horquetta.

Police say the corpse of Jalani Sampson was found at around 7.30 pm on Saturday night.

According to reports, officers of the La Horquetta Police Station received information of a shooting along Krishna Persad Street in Phase 5.

When the officers arrived, they found the body of 19-year-old Mr. Sampson lying facedown in a dirt track off the roadway.

He had been shot multiple times and was unresponsive.

A team of officers from the Homicide Bureau and the Northern Division, led by Senior Supt. Brandon John, visited the scene.
