Finance Minister Colm Imbert, dismisses claims of money laundering and fraud leveled against him, by Opposition Senator Wade Mark.

On Tuesday in the Senate, Mr. Mark questioned a connection between the Cannon Belgrave land transaction and the Finance Minister.

Senator Mark, told the House some high-ranking officials and certain citizens are guilty of fraud.

Minister Imbert’s colleague, Attorney General Faris al Rawi sought to clear the air on the matter.

Yesterday, Minister Imbert was present to defend himself against the allegations.

Minister Imbert then revealed the actual price he paid for the property.

Mr. Mark was on Tuesday contributing to debate on Miscellaneous Provisions Bill 2020.
