A report today, that Couva teacher Keston Mahabir sought help from the police, three weeks before he went missing. Mr. Mahabir went to the Couva Police Station on February 29th and reported an incident involving a man and a woman.
Newscentre 5 understands the report was made at around 9.45 p.m. and was lodged in the station’s diary. In the police report, Mr. Mahabir said the incident occurred at around 6.45 p.m. that day and involved a man and a woman. The police report states he asked the police to warn the man and woman.
26-year-old Mr. Mahabir is still missing, and police and his family says there is no new information, which could lead them to him. Contacted by telephone yesterday, Mr. Mahabir’s sister, Melissa Riley, said she did not know of the police report. Mr. Mahabir was abducted from his Mc Bean Couva home on March 21.
