Increasing violence in Tobago is causing the chief secretary to reach out for talks with, the prime minister and his minister of national security.
Chief Secretary Farley Augustine tells of a letter he sent to the prime minister, regarding the spate of crimes in Tobago and the need for talks.
Mr. Augustine last Thursday piloted a motion, on crime expressing concerns about the increasing number of violent incident.
He also called for action on those he believe, is really responsible for crime in the country.
The chief secretary also sought to dispel the notion that poverty causes crime.
