The body of a man is found on agricultural lands in Las Lomas.

The victim is yet to be identified. Police say the body bore a gunshot wound to the chest.

The corpse was discovered at around noon today. Investigators believe the man was shot within the last 12 hours and his body dumped in the isolated area.

Cunupia police say they received an anonymous call informing them of the body at Mahaica Trace, Chin Chin Road, Las Lomas # 2.

Police said the victim is of African descent, with a rasta hairstyle and appeared to be in his 30’s.

The body was clad in a pair of black pants, a blue and white striped tee shirt, and a pair of red, white and black Nike air max sneakers.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the homicide division at 652-0495.
