Another death linked to the COVID-19 is recorded.

This brings the number of fatalities in Trinidad and Tobago to 29.

In a release last evening the Ministry of Health said the latest death was an elderly male with co-morbidities.

The release said all established protocols have been implemented.

It said 43 additional persons have tested positive for the COVID-19.

The Ministry said these positive cases were from samples taken from August 28^th to yesterday.

The release also said the total number of active cases is now 1255 while the number of samples which have tested positive at public and private facilities in Trinidad and Tobago are 1,984.
