David Abdullah calls on the government to move quickly and get rid of the remnants of corruption left by the last Peoples Partnership administration.
Mr. Abdullah feels one of the issues to be addressed quickly is the removal of Central Bank Governor Jawala Rambaran.
The leader of the Movement for Social Justice said over the weekend the government also has to address the issue of land tenure and security for farmers.
Mr. Abdullah was speaking during his party’s special congress in Couva yesterday.
The theme of the event was ‘Re-imagining the Future’.
