The opposition United National Congress says the Prime Minister’s presentation was short on substance.
Party Public Relations Officer, Anita Haynes says not enough attention is being paid by Dr. Keith Rowley to the saving of the economy.
Speaking with Newscenter 5 yesterday Ms. Haynes said there is a need for planning.
She said the government is not acting in the interest of the people.
Questioned on the developments surrounding Member of Parliament for Princes Town Barry Padarath, Ms. Haynes declined.
Reports in yesterday’s Sunday Express said, a female friend close to the opposition MP is being questioned by police in relation to a 2.5 million dollar bank account.
The woman is reported to be a housewife.
Ms. Haynes did say the party will issue a statement on the matter.
