Contractor Emile Elias says he will not back down from his statements that he won the state sponsored Mahogany Housing Project contract without favour.
last week, it was reported that Mr. Elias’ company, N.H. International, got the 145 million dollar contract to begin the first phase of the governments public/private partnership.
However, the HDC’s handling of the matter was worrying to some.
However Mr. Elias insists there was transperency at every stage of the process.
Mr. Elias hinted the cost would increase as expediture related to T&TEC and WASA are yet to be settled.
Mr. Elias was speaking on the Showdown programme on i95.5fm Sunday.
