Daryl Rampersad, President of the Agricultural Society says land tenure remains a major issue for farmers.

President Daryl Rampersad says the issue is a longstanding one.

According to him several farmers are losing the land.

He says when farmers seek financial assistance they are asked for land tenure.

During an interview this morning Mr. Rampersad also stressed that administration after administration have assumed office but the problems remain the same.

He says the issue must be resolved from a Cabinet level.
