Chinese workers in the Bahamas stage a demonstration, saying they want to return home.
The workers are building a resort on the island, but they say with the growing number of COVID-19 cases they fear infections.
The workers yesterday gathered on the outside of the Chinese Embassy in Nassau.
Counsel for the Chinese Embassy Hee Hang Ying told members of the media the workers have concerns.
He said the workers want to return to their families and they are worried about the COVID situation in the Bahamas.
The protesters eventually left the embassy.
The coronavirus originated in Wuhan China last year, but the country has so far returned to normal.
But the virus has been spreading rapidly in the Bahamas, where 46 people have died.
