New TTFA President Elected

TTFA presidentNewly elected President of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association David John Williams says the time has come for him to serve football and the country. Mr. John Williams was voted into office yesterday during the TTFA’s Annual General Meeting in Port of Spain.

 

Speaking with Newscentre 5 earlier today, Mr John Williams said he is ready for the task. Mr. John Williams got 25 votes unseating incumbent Raymond Tim Kee who got 18 votes. Mr. Tim Kee says democracy has worked well in the TTFA and he is proud. The AGM and election were held at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo.

 

Mr. John Williams is also the President of T&T Pro League club W. Connection. At the first round of the election Mr. John Williams got 18 votes to Mr. Tim Kee’s 13. Clynt Taylor came in third with 8 votes. In the 2nd round Mr. John Williams got 25 votes to Mr. Tim Kee’s 19. Mr. John Williams said after the election he will do his best for football in Trinidad and Tobago.
