The mother of two died on impact yesterday when the van plunged over a precipice and came to a stop in a ditch below. Reports say, Ms. Boisson and her brother Dylan Fourniller were being driven by Troy Letren just after 1 pm yesterday.
The three were said to be heading to Maraval from Petit Valley when Mr. Letren lost control of the van. The van veered off the road, drove over a cliff and came to a stop in the ditch below. Emergency services rushed all three passengers to the St. James Medical Facility, but by the time they arrived Ms. Boisson was dead.
Mr. Letren and Mr. Fourniller remain warded at the Port of Spain General Hospital and are listed in critical condition. Ms. Boisson was a pre-school teacher and was said to be pregnant at the time she was killed. An autopsy is expected today.
