A 6-day-old baby is one of 2 persons who died of the virus in Guyana over the last weekend.

The Ministry of Health gave no further details of the child’s death.

The baby was from Region 3.

The other dead patient is a 31-year-old woman from Region 10.

She died while receiving care at a medical facility.

The death toll in Guyana now stands at 151.
