Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has again dubbed, Trinidad and Tobago a lawless dump.

Mrs.Persad-Bissessar renewed her criticism after a number of violent confrontations were captured on video at, the f-o-c fete in Chaguaramas during the independence.

Meanwhile, promoters of the f-o-c summer 2026 fete, yup life entertainment say, they are reviewing the event and putting additional measures in place after police shut down the fete in Chaguaramas.

In a statement, the promoters say the problems occurred when several digital tickets registered invalid.

They say, this created heavy congestion at the entrance and a crowd gathered, with some people eventually storming the fete.

The promoters say, stage performances were stopped for security reasons, and tensions escalated inside the venue.

They say, bottles and other objects were thrown, while fights broke out, prompting police to make the decision to end the event.

According to reports, several people were arrested for obscene language and disorderly conduct.

Island E tickets says, it has begun a full investigation into the incident into the ticketing and entry records.

Island E ticket says, the investigations will be concluded no later than Friday, and they will share the findings once it is complete.
