A shooting in central Trinidad, leaves one man dead and two others fighting for their lives at hospital. Dead is Junior Greenidge.

Newscenter 5 understands the incident occurred at around 10pm yesterday on Teelucksingh Street in Couva. Reports say the men were liming by a shop in the area when three armed men approached.

The assailants fired several shots at the group hitting them multiple times, before fleeing. The men were rushed to the Couva District Hospital where Mr. Greenidge died. Police say three suspects have since been detained in connection with the attack. Region 3 Homicide Officers are conducting inquiries.
