PRIME MINISTER SENDS WARNING TO INDISCIPLINED STUDENTS…

The new school year officially starts today, with a suggestion from Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

In a message to mark the re-opening of schools, Mrs. Persad Bissessar tells teachers, and principals to send misbehaving students straight home.

She calls for a zero-tolerance approach, to disruptive students and parents.

Mrs. Persad-Bissessar is urging teachers and principals not to allow badly behaved students, to disrupt the education of others.

To teachers and principals she says, their work demands patience, authority, and sound judgment.

She also thanks them for maintaining standards, while guiding and encouraging the nations children.

However, she is suggesting they adopt a zero-tolerance policy to disrespectful, and misbehaved students and parents.

Don’t stress themselves trying to help persons, who don’t want to be helped.

She also places responsibility on parents, to discipline and prepare their children for school, warning them not to shift their parental responsibilities onto teachers.
