A murder in Pt Cumana is engaging the attention of the police. Dead is Selby Peters.

According to reports 30 year old Mr Peters, was in the driveway of his Mc Kenzie Street home around 9 O‘clock last evening when he was shot.

Residents reported hearing gunshots in the area. Upon investigating, they found Mr Peters with several gunshot wounds about his body

The police and Emergency Health Services were contacted. A team of officers from the Carenage police station and the Western Division Task Force responded. However, by the time they arrived Mr Peters was dead.

Police are trying to ascertain a motive for the killing.
