Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh says steps have been taken to decentralise testing.

He tells the COVID-19 Media Briefing that to this end thousands of test kits have been acquired.

Minister Deyalsingh gave a breakdown of the figures.

Minister Deyalsingh said they would be distributed throughout the Regional Health Authorities.

And the Minister of Health is once again appealing to persons who are sick to stay away from the work place.

At the COVID-19 Media Briefing yesterday Terrence Deyalsingh reminded citizens that this is stipulated in the Public Health Ordinance.

Minister Deyalsingh said this was critical to saving lives.

And Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Avery Hinds said steps must also be taken at the work place to ensure a safe environment.

He was speaking with the media yesterday.
