Mother and daughter remain at hospital after an accident which claimed the lives of father and son, Namdeo Harriman and Lalchan Harriman. The Harriman family was involved in an accident on the M-1 Ring Road yesterday.

Injured are Hanwantie Harriman and her 7 year-old daughter Trisha. Reports say the family vehicle skidded off the wet road and slammed head-on into a ten-tonne lorry yesterday morning at around 10:20am.

41 year-old Mr. Harriram, was driving his vehicle heading towards San Fernando, when the car picked up a skid as it rounded a corner and into the path of the delivery truck. Namdeo Harriram and his son 25 year-old Lalchan died at the scene of the accident.

The truck, driven by Dave Ramkissoon, was heading towards Princes Town. Mr. Ramkissoon’s brother, Nizam Mohammed, was in the passenger seat. He suffered minor injuries. The driver escaped unhurt.
