Keith Rowley’s Red Team sweeps Internal Elections in the ruling Peoples National Movement.

Up to late last night initial results showed the team won all positions contested in the elections of the ruling Peoples National Movement.

Among those who would have won under the banner of the red team, are Colm Imbert as chairman of the party, Robert Le Hunte as Vice Chairman and Foster Cummings is to be made general secretary.

The Red Team also included Overand Padmore, for Education Officer, Daniel Dookie for assistant General Secretary Daniel Dookie and Lauren Lezama who contested the post of Public Relations Officer.

Just after 8 o’clock last evening, all individuals on the team were way ahead of their competitors.

After he voted yesterday, political leader and Prime Minister Dr. Rowley expressed satisfaction with the voting process.

Dr. Rowley told reporters he had heard of no major incidents.

And speaking on the Morning Edition program a short while ago campaign manager Rohan Sinanan said he was satisfied with the process.

PNM members voted in the 42 constituencies throughout yesterday.

Dr. Rowley’s position was uncontested and so too were the positions of Lady Vice Chairman, Labour Relations Officer and Welfare Officer.
