The Keith Rowley government in Trinidad and Tobago is to present to the Parliament its Vision 2030.
Planning and Development Minister Camille Robinson-Regis says the hope is to have the Vision 2030 document examined by a Committee of the Parliament.
She and her government want it to become national policy.
Vision 2020 under late former Prime Minister Patrick Manning failed.
The Minister said when her party left office the Vision 2020 languished and this should not happen again.
She also wants to tie in the government’s plan to the sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
Opposition MP Bhoendradat Tewarie is pleased with the plan to take the document to a JSC of the Parliament.
Dr. Tiwarie was speaking on the TV6 Morning Edition programme earlier.
