Two teenagers have been held for questioning in connection with the murder of Defence Force Corporal Jerry Leacock.
The boys, said to be below the age of 18, were arrested in Arima during a police exercise.
Corporal Leacock was shot in the chest during a robbery at his home in Wallerfield at around 5.30 a.m. onTuesday. He was rushed to the Arima District Health Facility where he died a short while later.
Police said they were searching for three suspects in connection with the robbery and killing.
In a statement, the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment said it will continue to work tirelessly in support of the Police Service to bring the perpetrators to justice.
