Three days of searching for Kyle Gonsalves have come to an end. His body was found yesterday morning in the waters off La Fillette Bay along the north coast.
Public Information Officer for the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard, Lt. Commander Kirk Jean-Baptiste, the body was seen by fishermen who contacted officials. Mr. Gonsalves body was removed from the waters at around 11 a.m. and taken to Staubles Bay, Chaguaramas.
He was positively identified by relatives at around 3.55 p.m. Mr. Gonsalves went missing after he jumped into rough waters in Blanchiesseuse last saturday afternoon.
