Another stirring appeal from a CARICOM Prime Minister, his country needs help to deal with the challenges of global warming.
Prime Minister of the Bahamas, Phillip Davis yesterday followed other leaders of the region in telling the COP 26 Summit, commitments must transferred into action.
The newly elected Prime Minister said the Bahamas is a living example of what climate change can do to a people and a country.
He reminded the delegates about the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas 2 years ago.
He echoed the sentiments of his CARICOM colleagues and made the appeal a personal one.
Regional leaders who addressed the conference in the last 2 days include Mia Mottley of Barbados, and Dr. Keith Rowley of Trinidad and Tobago.
