Police are investigating the death of a 24-year-old woman.

Investigators have identified the deceased as Jadesha Gray of Upper Belle Eau Road, Belmont.

A probe is underway but Newscenter 5 understands Ms. Gray was found lying motionless in one of the rooms at a St. Augustine guesthouse on Saturday.

Reports say Ms. Gray booked a room at the La Mirage Guesthouse at around 7:40pm on Friday.

The room was booked for a 24-hour period.

However at around 6pm, the owner reportedly became suspicious and knocked on the door but there was no answer.

The room was subsequently opened and Ms. Gray’s lifeless body was found in the bathroom.

Police suspect suicide but are awaiting the results of an autopsy.
