17-year-old Amy Babwah says she hid her seven-month-old baby behind a wardrobe while in the living room of her house gunmen pumped bullets into her husband. 35-year-old Selwyn John was shot several times at his Marabella home on Monday night.

Ms. Babwah and her baby were not hurt. Mr. John died in the living room of their home. Reports are saying two men shot Mr. John at around 11 pm. They then left the house. An autopsy done on Mr. John’s body yesterday confirmed he died as a result of shock and hemorrhage consistent with multiple gunshot wounds.

Meanwhile investigations continue into the murder of 19-year-old Karin Grant. She was shot dead at a house in San Juan on Monday night. Her relatives believe she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Ms. grant was said to be outside the house when a man shot her. Two other men were shot and wounded. One of them died at the scene while the other is now hospitalised.
