An 83-year-old woman has become the latest patient to die of the coronavirus in Jamaica.

The death of the woman brings to 34 the number of COVID related fatalities.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness said yesterday most of the deaths are among the elderly.

As a result, Mr. Holness has announced some strict guidelines once again.

The curfew times have also changed.

As of yesterday curfews will commence from 8pm to 5am the next morning.

Prime Minister Holness said there is a surge and there is no room for complacency.

Mr. Holness wants all Jamaicans to do the right things to limit the spread of the virus.
