Former head of the National Operations Center Garvin Heerah says Trinidad and Tobago needs a new strategy in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Heerah says now is the time for country to engage and consider ‘ down range’ planning.
Mr. Heerah is especially concerned about the long-term repercussions for energy, social services, education and national security.
He says all stakeholders including the Commissioner of Police will need to work together to pave the road ahead.
Mr. Heerah says, if the global atmosphere remains threatened, losing the war on the pandemic and failing to cope, there is a strong possibility, that this can have a cause and effect result on this country’s future.
