An assurance that Tobago has an adequate number of beds and contact tracers for upcoming phases of the island’s response to COVID-19.

At the COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday, acting Director of Primary Care at the Tobago Regional Health Authority Dr. Roxanne Mitchell said the island is in a good place.

Dr. Mitchell also assured that Tobago would soon begin its own testing for COVID-19.

Dr. Mitchell said the separate COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit will remain at the Scarborough Hospital.
