Paul Richards resigns from State-owned Caribbean New Media Group.
Mr. Richards who was recently appointed an independent senator by President Anthony Carmona, made the announcement on his Facebook page this afternoon.
In the post, Mr. Richards said: “To all who have been inquiring Yes I resigned from CNMG this morning, and thank the company and staff for a wonderful experience and wish them all the best in the future…On now to new opportunities and experiences.”
Mr. Richards, was a talk show host and manager at CNMG. He has been criticized for maintaining his posts after being appointed an independent senator.
His resignation follows dismissal of CNMG ‘s CEO Ken Ali and talk show host Marcia Braveboy. Andy Johnson and Tony Deyal from GISL were also dismissed.
