A woman is chopped to death during an early morning domestic dispute in Rio Claro.

Police say Khadijah Dipchand died at her Dindial Trace home at around 1:30 am today following a quarrel with a male relative.

Reports say 31-year-old Ms. Dipchand and the man got into a heated exchange and it soon led to blows.

During the physical altercation the man reportedly dealt Ms. Dipchand several chop wounds about the body.

Reports say she collapsed and died at the scene.

Ms. Dipchand’s 13-year-old daughter who allegedly witnessed the tragedy was chopped on the hand.

The child was rushed to hospital where she remains warded in a serious condition.

No word on if anyone was arrested for the killing.

Police are investigating.
