Political leader of the New National Vision, Fuad Abu Bakr is pleading for an end to crime.
Mr Abu Bakr made the plea hours after he was accosted and stabbed while leaving his Diego Martin home.
He escaped serious injury after seeking refuge at a neighbour’s house, on Sunday night.
Mr Abu Bakr, the son of Jamaat Al Muslimeen leader Imam Yasin Abu Bakr, is now resting comfortably at home.
Speaking with Newscentre Five yesterday, he called for an end to crime saying citizens were the ones to make it happen.
A motive behind the attack remains unclear at this time.
