There has been a double murder in Princestown. The dead are identified as Kyle Francis and Alex Smith.

Mr Francis was 20 years old while Mr Smith was 35. They were reportedly at a house in the Wiliamsville district, when gunmen are said to have stormed the dwelling shortly after midnight.

The assailants then opened fire killing Mr Francis and Mr Smith instantly.

Mr Francis’ father, Andre Francis and another relative Franklyn Francis, were also shot and wounded during the incident. They were rushed to the San Fernando general hospital, where they remain warded in a critical condition.
