Human skeletal remains have been found in Rio Claro.

A Forestry Division labourer found the remains yesterday morning.

The worker was said to be cutting teak trees in a forested area along Tabaquite Road.

Police were called to the scene.

Officers say no clothing was seen near the remains.

The remains were taken to the Forensic Science Center in St. James.
