The new Political Leader of the United National Congress will tonight begin a meet the Constituency tour.

Kamla Persad Bissessar’s first stop is the area represented by Opposition Leader Basdeo Panday.

Mr. Panday is quoted as saying he was not invited to the tour although he is the Opposition Leader and Member of Parliament for Couva North.

On the weekend Mrs. Persad Bisessar said forces against the ruling People’s National Movement are gaining strength.

She said a revolution is at hand.

The newly elected leader said she will be reaching out to those who want change with the aim of unseating the ruling Party.

She was speaking at a UNC event on Saturday evening.

Mrs. Persad Bisessar is nursing a shoulder injury after she suffered a fall inside the Parliament building on Friday.
